Grace-fulness

Grace is God's ability and goodness and we can answer certain questions when we look at the verses in the NT on grace.

Where did New Testament grace come from and why is it differnet than the Old Testament?

John 1:14-17; Eph 1:5-7

What do we have in Christ by grace?

We have all the sonship rights in Christ, but also:

sufficiency: 2 Cor 9:8

hope and comfort 2 Thess 2:6-17

help in time of need Heb 4:16

various gifts Rom 12:6-8

What do we do with this grace-FULNESS?

Minister to others 1 Pet 4:10-11

Speak God's Word Col 4:2-6

Be strengthened and grow 2 Tim 2:1; 2 Pet 3:18

We have been given so much in the grace of Jesus Christ -- let's walk in the fulness of it!
