According to Romans 5 there were two people who represented two different spiritual realities. They were Adam and Jesus Christ. One brought to mankind death and the other, life.
By way of comparison, Ken shares a record from I Samuel 17 where there were also two people, David and Goliath, who were representing their different nations. There are interesting lessons that can be gleaned as we see with whom the nations identified themselves, and correspondingly, our identity in Christ and our victory over sin and death.
